I'm guessing those were from your trip to Kentucky? The Florence in your first picture makes me think of Alabama though. The last picture is very creative!
That last picture IS very cool. I recognize the tower in the first of course. There is a story behind it involving the mayor of that city. Are you familiar with it? Something like it used to say Florence 'Mall', and they had to change it when they changed the name of the mall, so to save money they changed it to 'Yall'. It's been a while since I read it but you've heard the story?
Yes, blogger visits pass too quickly it seems! We had an excellent time visiting with you and Cindy and her family. Most fun!
Dave: Yes, they're from our trip home (I still consider Kentucky my home because half of my heart still lives there). Florence, Kentucky.
FD: Thanks, we were being creative. ;~)
W2W: Yes, that's my sweetie pie, my youngest daughter, she'll be 14 on May 11, the day before my birthday. And I'm sorry about no story yet, you'll have to wait a bit longer. ;~)
Ms. Susie: We had a wonderful time, and the weather was much more spring-like than in western PA.
IIona: Have you ever stopped in Florence on your way to Tenn? We sometimes stop and eat there but that's about all. Those murals were on the back wall of the new library in Greensburg.
Ms. Terri: I don't "prides" myself on a lot of them. For every hundred I take, a half-dozen might be keepers.
Ms. Tina: I wasn't aware of the story behind the naming of that water tower. How interesting. You're a wealth of information!
I know this is an old post, but when I saw the Florence water tower pic, I had to have a better look, because I've seen this several times! We go by it when traveling to points south. Love it!

Ha, great last pic!!
You would post your first vacation pics on Saturday! You tease! Is that your daughter saving you a table in the last pic? I want a story, darn it.
I know you had a great time being down here in the south. That last picture is cute.
Wonderful pictures! I go by that water tower on the way to Tennessee :) and the last one is so cute and clever.
Love that last picture! You "prides" yourself on your photography, and rightly so! :)

I read it somewhere. I really need to find the resource but look at the picture. Can you see where the M would be? I found it neat.
