The end draws near

The title of this blog post sounds gloomy doesn't it? I will be deleting this blog soon so that's why the end is drawing near. In my attempt to change a few things, career wise, I'm switching from using Blogger to WordPress for a new blog. The move is still ongoing but I'm hoping for an end-of-year completion date. I'm learning new stuff, and unlearning old stuff, mostly via my own mistakes and discoveries.

Inserting an image into a WordPress blog post was recently attempted, successfully, but with some minor difficulties. They give you a few more options to work with compared to Blogger. That's the only minor difficulty I had, if you can call it a difficulty - learning the image posting options. I'm now familiarizing myself with and getting the hang of WordPress' widget feature, which is basically the same thing as adding a gadget on a Blogger blog.

I'll be adding a new "Blogroll" on my WordPress blog too, that's the same thing as Blogger's "Configure Blog List" option. So, all of my "followers" here will be added there.
